Originally established in Souderton, Pennsylvania, The Weimer Group is now located in Harleysville, Pennsylvania. The agency has been providing customers with insurance coverage and exceptional service since 1968. They take pride in helping you understand insurance and live up to their slogan of giving you “Insurance…Simplified.” They also have another location in Perkasie, Pennsylvania.

Agency principals Dean Wimmer and David Beck have 39 years and 42 years of insurance experience, respectively. Dean is a graduate of The American College and currently holds both the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations. David is a licensed broker and also holds the CIC designation. Dean and David are both huge believers in the importance of education and understanding insurance and what it covers.

“We help you understand what insurance coverage you have, what you need and even what you don’t need,” Dean said. “We listen. Our goal is to help make insurance a bit easier to understand so you can make informed decisions.”

The 25-person staff, split between the agency’s two locations, provides personalized service to every individual customer in order to better understand their personal or business insurance needs. They live and work in the local community, which also affords them the opportunity to get to know their customers better.

Dean has volunteered with a variety of local charities and organizations, including serving on a number of boards. He is also active in his church where he serves on the board as well.
